A Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

I first want to thank you for bringing your wonderful children into the lives of April and myself. Seeing their smiling faces every week reminds us of the work God is doing in the lives of the Evergreen Youth and brings happiness to our lives as well.

We believe that God has big things planned for the Youth. Our constant message to these young people is that you don’t have to be an adult to do great things for God (1 Timothy 4:12).  Learning to listen to God and act on His will at a young age is something we should be practicing daily.

As parents of these young people, I encourage you to help them in their walk with God and their involvement with Evergreen Student Ministries. April and I are trying to provide several opportunities for students to be involved in the ministry. Your input and influence is critical at this point in these students’ lives and we hope that you will continue to push them toward a Christ-like lifestyle.

Making these opportunities available to the Youth group is something that April and I feel that God is pushing us to do, but we cannot do it without your help. As volunteer leaders, April and I often need parent help to make these events a success. If you are ever available to help with transportation, food, or anything else, we welcome your help with open arms.

We thank you again for all you have done for the youth and all you will do in the future.
